Chinook salmon are typically the first to migrate through the fence each year. This Chinook is swimming overtop the white teflon bottom of the trapbox.
Hundreds of bull trout migrate downstream through the fence each season following the sockeye smolts.
GFA crews dipnet Brown Bear Creek sockeye. These sockeye are a genetically unique, river-run sockeye. GFA collects DNA samples each season to learn more about this unique, at risk salmon run.
